Washington : Science is confirming what women know :when given the coice for a mate, men go for good looks .
And guys will not be surprised to learn tat women are much choosier abt partners than they are .
"Juz becoz people say tat they're looking for a particular set of characteristics in a mate, someone like themselves, doesn't mean tat is wat they'll end up choosing, " Peter M.Todd of the cognitive science programme at Indiana University, Bloomington, said in a telephone interview.
